It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday. This is a weekly challenge hosted by The Brooke and the Bookish. This week’s challenge is a freebie . We get to choose any genre we want that we’ve recently added to our TBR. If you want to participate in this weekly meme, be sure to go check out Brooke’s blog!
This is a strange list for me to be making because contemporary is normally really out of my comfort zone. I’ve been trying to branch out more and more lately though and the summer feels like a perfect time to give lighter contemporaries a fair shot. I’ve been purchasing a lot and adding lots of my TBR lately. If you have any suggestions for me that would be amazing. Not 100% familiar with the category, so I’m still really out-of-the-loop with this genre. Here are my top ten contemporaries that I really want to read and added to my TBR!
Dimple Meets Rishi by Sandya Menon
This sounds so cute (I have a feeling I’m going to be saying that a lot in this list!). The book centers around two young American-Indians who have been arranged to be married. The guy is very much a traditionalist and is all for the marriage but the girl has other plans for her life. Sounds like a really great book and I believe it is an #ownvoice author and that always makes me much more excited to read. How gorgeous is this cover?!?!?
